GEORGE WOOLGAR George Woolgar is a playing professional from the Derbyshire area. He has a very good career so far and has yet to reach his full potential. George is a very committed professional person who has had many wins in his career. Now is the time for him to make the move into the higher tours within Europe. George and Glenn started working together over three years ago and much improvement has been made with the putter. Now it is down to regular work to maintain George’s top level of putting. Attached you will see how George has worked hard, just look at the SAM lab data, this is just what can be done with hard work. However, never rest on your laurels and keep working hard on the right things!
The attached stills show you that even though the line goes through the ball, his hands, his sternum and left eye George does not look to be in a good position. Spine angle is vital also. George’s requirements are that he needs to sit behind the ball a little, with his eyes in particular and the rest of his body is in a perfect position. George at times struggles with his impact and putting through the ball. We have decided that this is due to his upper body set up, it has taken tome to identify this as his position has always looked really good. However, biomechanically we are not all the same. So, what is good for one person is not good for another.
