AMATEUR STUDENTS

Everyone who plays golf starts as an amateur, obviously really.  We start the game as another relaxation, another game to play but then some of us find out we are really good at it.

There are so many people that can benefit from having a putting lesson, you can learn how to develop and how to practice correctly.
There are so many amateurs who are eager to turn professional: -

• Junior players with eyes on the professional golf tours
• Players in National & county teams
• The golfer who is reaching fifty and realises there may be an opportunity for the senior tour

For these people it is important to be a great putter, it is necessary for them to be fantastic to win.  We all know the great players on tour and the ones who putt so well.

But what about the amateur who wants to remain in that status and is really serious about their game?  They can still improve their and get satisfaction by being a great putter.  We know when we’ve had a good putting day, we generally win a tournament or a match play competition.   So, make every day either a good or great putting day!  You work hard enough and the rewards will come.
I have adopted the training i developed for the professional to be suitable for the amateur.  Of course it is up to you as to what you want to learn and how much time you have to spend practicing.

The class and coaching i do with amateurs is designed for long term and also the follow up support is generally the same.  The cost is lower, it is not your way of life and you do not have to win money to survive, unlike the professional golfer.
A typical class with me for you, the amateur student: -

• Meet and greet
• Discuss your aims and goals for the lesson
• Assess your putting – video, visual and SAM data
• Get to work on the coaching and improvement
• Long term practice and drills
• Concluding the lesson
• Arrange follow up support
• Session time is generally two hours – don’t worry, you do sit down in between times
